Georgia's distinctive smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics combine with her music to create something that is folky, bluesy, bit country, rock, hip-hop, social commentary/protest, and her own style of observational angst. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Australian and Ecuadorian parents, Georgia was raised in New Orleans & Brooklyn up until 2004 when she made the move to Scotts Head, Australia. After years of careers in law, town planning and local government, Georgia took the plunge into being a fulltime singer/songwriter at the age of 52. On the 19th of March 2022, Georgia released her first album; The Past is a Passenger, at only 55 years of age. She is currently writing songs for her second album and continues to be a local favourite at markets and cafés within the region. Her live shows feature her soulful originals with a mix of covers from toe tappers to chillers; there is something for everyone.
